4164- عن ‌سعيد بن المسيب، عن ‌أبيه : «أنه كان ممن بايع تحت الشجرة، فرجعنا إليها العام المقبل فعميت علينا».

Narrated Sa`id bin Al-Musaiyab:That his father was amongst those who had given the Pledge of allegiance (to the Prophet (ﷺ) ) beneath the Tree, and the next year when they went towards the Tree, they were not able to recognize it

ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے ابوعوانہ نے ‘ کہا ہم سے طارق بن عبدالرحمٰن نے ‘ ان سے سعید بن مسیب نے اور ان سے ان کے والد نے کہ انہوں نے بھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس درخت کے تلے بیعت کی تھی۔ کہتے تھے کہ جب ہم دوسرے سال ادھر گئے تو ہمیں پتہ نہیں چلا کہ وہ کون سا درخت تھا۔
