ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہر مہینے تین دن روزہ رکھتے تھے: پہلے ہفتہ کے دوشنبہ ( پیر ) اور جمعرات کو، اور دوسرے ہفتہ کے دوشنبہ ( پیر ) کو۔
